Ngorongoro Serena

Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is built into the rim of a dormant and collapsed volcano (known as a caldera), the plant and ivy-covered native stone blending in masterfully with its surroundings.

Nearby lies the Olduvai Gorge, the "birthplace of man". Today the volcano and surrounding landscape are part of a vast conservation area inhabited by the Masai tribe, as well as an extraordinary variety of big game and birdlife. Most guestrooms have private terraces with views of the crater floor where countless animals make their home.

At Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge visitors co-exist in perfect harmony with the natural environment and the wildlife that it inhabits.

Guestrooms are spacious with central heating, prehistoric cave paintings and balconies overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater. The furniture is made from hardwood timber.

Samburu Serena

Situated on the fertile banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, in the center of the Samburu Game Reserve, the Samburu Safari Lodge echoes the sounds of the river-front wildlife. The architecture was inspired by the indigenous Samburu tribe and blends into the natural environment, making full use of native materials. Thatched cabins built using exotic African woods create the ideal atmosphere. The lodge has a swimming pool and a special game-viewing verandah.

Guest rooms have private verandahs with views of the river and of the wildlife it attracts. Hundreds of crocodiles make this their home. Accommodations are cooled by breezes off the river and by punkah fans. The interior decor is inspired by the traditions of the Samburu tribe.

The Samburu Game Reserve is renowned for its rare wildlife like the long-necked gerunuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa oryx

Serengeti Serena

Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge is set high on a hill with breathtaking views of the sweeping grasslands and unspoiled wilderness landscape of the Serengeti plains. The buildings' stone facings utilize the stone shale that was found on the site and is common throughout the Serengeti plains.
